I found these baby comforter crochet kits in Action. One a cat and the other a frog. There were other animals available too, I wish I'd bought them all because they were so easy to make and so cheap. The yarn is synthetic but it is quite soft and durable. I made grannny squares, more a lace style to save yarn in order to make as big a square as possible. For the cat comforter I finished with a picot border and for the from comforter I finished with a double crochet (UK) border.
